It’s Tuesday evening and we are still in our pajamas from this morning eating popcorn and watching Disney movies on the couch, pure Heaven. Delilah stayed home from school today to rest while she fights a yucky cold with the whole bit, sniffles, cough and snotty nose included. Sawyer also has a little cough but the runny nose has not commenced yet….fingers crossed that it passes for him. The last two days have been super slow with the little sickling’s and we have been able to make a little progress around the house, there is not one piece of clothing in our laundry baskets, friends! Can I get a round of applause…
This weekend was a big first for Sawyer in that he was introduced to rice cereal and had his first taste of green vegetables, yummy peas. Let me tell ya, this baby boy can house some food. We were in awe by how much he loved his peas and how he savored every bite of his cereal. He was more than satisfied with his dinner and it made mama happy to see him enjoy a good meal. We will be introducing avocado in the next couple days and are eager to see his expression.
Last weekend we had one day that felt like Winter was on the horizon and we were able to break out a few of our favorite new pieces of outerwear. When it comes to outerwear, Lilah is a stickler about comfort and not feeling overly bundled and contained. She is the child that would wear shorts and a tank in the middle of a blizzard if she could which is why this mama felt overjoyed when she was happy as a clam in her new get up.
Her long padded jacket from Mini Boden won her over with its cozy liner. It is super soft and “not itchy” says Lilah, not itchy is a huge deal in this house! The length of this coat is perfect for wearing with a casual outfit to school or over top a cute dress this Holiday season. The coat fabric is a gorgeous Navy hue and is shower resistant keeping your babe dry and snug as a bug in Winter weather. The faux fur trim is soft and gives this coat an extra cozy vibe. Lilah is super happy with her coat choice.
Her mary jane inspired footwear from pediped are her favorite shoes right now. They have just enough sparkle to keep her inner princess happy and the healthy comfort and support to keep mama even happier. These shoes are easy for her to put on herself with velcro closures and are breathable, making for healthy toddler tootsies. The flexible rubber soles make these shoes ultra comfortable and safe for outdoor play.
How cute are these kitty mittens? The soft fabric and popover tops make them a perfect pick for busy babes that like to play and keep warm at the same time! We are obsessed with the soft fabric and sweet design. The fluffy pink beanie with pom is the perfect touch for your girly girls outwear ensemble. Soft, feathery and cozy, this pom hat is perfection and will keep those little ears toasty. We are ready for a Winter Wonderland over here, how about you? Shop Delilah’s look below, mamas!
