It’s starting to look a lot like Christmas around these parts. Now that we are officially unpacked and decorated for the Holiday I feel at peace, relaxed and ready to celebrate. We had an absolute blast and made so many incredible memories in Caribbean swimming while listening to Christmas music playing throughout the resort; however, the next time we decide to travel out of the Country around Christmas, I think we will want to have decorated our home and put up our tree prior to departure. Once we landed state side we felt a sense of urgency to get everything up and done right away….a little more stressful than the norm.
Christmas time is our very favorite time of year. We love the lights, the decorated shops, breakfasts with Santa and most of all seeing Delilah’s face light up when she watches Rudolph and curates her many Christmas lists, pure magic! Mama gets so excited for family photographs and preparing matching outfits and accessories. In another life perhaps I would be a planner of some sort because I adore organizing the tiny details.
It’s such a special time of year to remember all of our family and closest friends and let them know how much we cherish their love and friendship. Since Delilah was born, the hubby and I have designed Christmas cards to send to our loved ones. It means so much to receive their cards as well and display them in our home, a perfect symbol of gratitude and appreciation for all of those who play an important role in our lives through out the year. Delilah is equally excited to open the cards we receive in the mail and tell a story about that person or family, she has the memory of an elephant!
This year we couldn’t be more excited to send out our Christmas cards. Not only did they turn out gorgeous, it’s our first Christmas as a family of four. We are so thankful and grateful for our family, friends, and our health and look forward to sharing our seasons greetings through Shutterfly.
Shutterfly has so many beautiful designs to choose from including their new foil stamped Holiday cards in gold, silver, red and rose gold. It adds a touch of glitz and glamour and makes the picture stand out. This year we chose the pearl shimmer card stock and I am so happy we did. It dressed up our card designs with the perfect amount of shimmer and gleam. A first for us are the envelope liners. I could not be more excited about these pretty pieces of stationary paper. They give our envelopes a unique look and added Holiday character.
Because there are so many beautiful designs and layouts to choose from, we picked three different styles to send out this year. To achieve the most festive look, we opted for personalized postage, address labels and envelope stickers. Let me tall ya, the address labels and stickers are the best addition ever. With little Sawyer hanging around, I am beyond thrilled that I do not have to write out our return address on all of the envelopes we are mailing out. The stickers are beyond adorable with the kiddos picture and gives it an added personal touch.
On a different note, don’t you hate it when yucky postage messes up your picture perfect envelope? You take all the time to address it with pretty penmanship and that not so festive stamp messes up your vision. Don’t let that happen mamas! Personalized postage from Shutterfly is the way to go and looks so fresh and festive on your Holiday envelope. There are so many unique designs and photo stamps to choose from, too!
If you’re looking for that Holiday card that is uniquely you and your family, head on over to Shutterfly to curate your design today. We are delighted by the color and quality of our stationary as well as the shipment timeliness through Shutterfly. We are excited to hear about your Shutterfly experience and which designs you will choose this year. Warmest seasons greetings, friends!
