Hey there, Monday! You sure came super quick this week….anyone else feeling the same Monday vibes? We had a little energy burst this morning after coffee and breakfast and decided to use our unexpected urge to clean and organize in our kitchen. After baking up some super yummy treats for Daddy to take to his company meeting tomorrow it needed a thorough cleaning and de-icing.
On a different note, our little Sawyer just turned 6 months and he is one happy little dude. He is eating all the food and sitting up pretty well these days. His current favorite food is by Earths Best and is Turkey Vegetable Dinner. He can seriously house some puffs and gets so excited when he sees yogurt on his tray for breakfast, favorite flavor, banana.
Delilah had the best Christmas and has been entertaining herself with the mountain of toys, books and art that she found under the tree from Santa. She loves that Sawyer is now sitting up and can join in on the fun during playtime. She has also made new friends in her Butterfly class at school and was invited to a super fun birthday party over the weekend that involved lots of jumpy houses and rock climbing, she had a ball!
They were calling for icy weather on Saturday which ended up just being rain but it had me thinking that we are due for a big snow storm! It’s January people and we haven’t seen any snow yet….whaaa? Usually by this time in Maryland we have had a few good inches of snow and ya know what….I’m kinda ready for a snow day where we are locked in with good movies, popcorn, sledding, hot chocolate and all the snuggling.
On snow days we like to make a big pot of chili and eat it through the day while we go in and out of the house to sled and make snow men. We usually work on Valentines and walk up to Pop and Gigi’s for a visit in our snow gear. Once the kiddos go down the hubby and I get cozy and watch a good movie with a drink and more comfort food. I could totally go for a hot chocolate with baileys right now…
Being that snow could greet us any day now we are sharing our favorite snow gear for mamas. These products make snow days with the babes warm, comfortable and stylish while braving the elements and playing all the snow activities. What do you all like to do on your snow days with the babes? Have a great week, friends!
